Independence Day is matchless of the most important vacations for the Salvadorians. This holiday is celebrated on the 15th of September the day that Salvadorians gained their emancipation in the year 1821. On that day El Salvador got its freedom from Spain after a big fight. The deuce-ace major crowd who fought and made the independence in El Salvador happen were, Jose Matias Delgado, Jose Simeon Callas, and the Aguilar br others. They were the ones who fought and worked viscid to gain the independence they put up now. Parades are an important burst of this holiday because it shows that they are proud of their independence. They celebrate this holiday by wearing their blue and white uniforms that represent the colors of the flag. luxuriant which means the sky or water and white which stands for peace. therefore at 7 in the morning they begin travel ready to march around the whole city with the push-down list playing different kinds of songs along with their chee rleaders and dancers. Then as the students block off they start heading seat to school and keep back their celebration. They continue by preparing a show for the people to catch and see. They perform up with folk subject dresses and everyone is dressed differently. At the author of the show they start by singing the guinea pig hymn and then groups come out one by one dancing.

They pretend to be famous people and have microscopic skits to show how the Salvadorians have gained their independence. The kids also dance folkloric music, salsa merengue, and other vitrine of music. Finally at the end of the d ay they light up the sky with fireworks. The! reason I chose to do my project on the Central American country, El Salvador is because both mom and seltzer came from there. So this was one of the opportunities for me to learn about both my parents homeland. Furthermore, El Salvador is home of the famous pupusas.
