Timothy Weaver The Scholar-Practionior Model for Masters level Students PSY5002 orientation in Graduate Learning in psychological science Dr. Bar-Navon September 30, 2012 Abstract This report card allows to me look at what I consider to be a scholar-practitioner. I started verboten by looking up the definition of practitioner, and found that is a practice of a specific reputation (Practitioner, 2011). The dictionary too told me that a scholar is defined as a someone who studies under a teacher or a someone who has done advanced study in a superfluous domain of a function (Scholar, 2011). Given, the two definitions, a scholar-practitioner is a person who is studying to do advanced practice in field. Graduate students in psychology often go on to become either educators or go in to a practice and obtain their doctoral degree, I feel this describes me as a scholar-practitioner.

The Scholar-Practitioner Model for Masters Level Students When I decided to enter graduate school, I had a macroscopic amount of questions that was running through my head about inquiry, expectations, and if my rocking horse would allow me to continue in my research compass of interest.
